SWITCHdrive

SWITCHdrive is an University approved cloud storage solution similar to Dropbox, Google Drive, SpiderOak, Tresorit, etc…
The SWITCHdrive servers are located completely in Switzerland and its usage is University approved.

Who is entitled to use SWITCHdrive?
As an active University member you have access to a 100 GB personal account.

1. go to https://cloud-id.switch.ch/ and create a SWITCH Cloud Account. Select University of Zurich from the drop-down menu.

   

    

2. Login with your UZH AAI credentials (Your AAI credentials can be viewed and/or reseted at www.identity.uzh.ch).

   

There are three ways to do it:

1. Via Browser (https://drive.switch.ch) 
   You need to use your full email address to login via browser.

   

    

2. Directly on your computer
   Download and install the desktop version of your choice (Linux, Mac, Windows) from the following page here.

   

    

3. On your mobile devices
   As well download the Android or iOS app from here.
