Introduction to Astroparticle Physics and Cosmology

This class introduces astroparticle physics with a focus on experimental methods and contemporary research. We will study the conceptual basics needed from particle physics and cosmology, the origin of the Universe, Nucleosynthesis and supernovae, detection & measurement techniques, cosmic rays-, neutrino-, dark matter, dark energy and gravitational-wave physics, and end with multi messenger astronomy and the connection to other fields.
