The Charles University and CEFRES (Centre français de recherche en sciences sociales) jointly finance two high-quality post-doctoral research fellows. One post-doctoral researcher will be recruited from 1 October 2024 for 15 months at CEFRES and be affilliated to CEFRES and to a relevant department for their research at Charles University.

Die Initiative "Ukrainian Research in Switzerland" (URIS) schreibt für das Frühjahrssemester 2025 (Februar-Juli 2025) und das Herbstsemester 2025 (August 2025-Januar 2026) je ein URIS-Fellowship für einen sechsmonatigen Forschungs- und Lehraufenthalt an der Universität Basel aus. Der neue Arbeitsschwerpunkt von URIS liegt auf dem Thema "Die Ukraine. Eine Nation zwischen Krieg und Wiederaufbau". Die Fellowships richten sich an promovierte Wissenschaftler:innen aus dem Bereich der Geistes-, Kultur- und Sozialwissenschaften, deren Forschung einen substantiellen Beitrag zum besseren Verständnis von Geschichte, Gesellschaft, Politik und Kultur der Ukraine verspricht.

The initiative "Ukrainian Research in Switzerland" (URIS) invites applications for a URIS fellowship for a six-month research and teaching stay at the University of Basel for the spring semester 2025 (February-July 2025) and the autumn semester 2025 (August 2025-January 2026). The main working focus of URIS will be on "Ukraine. A nation between war and reconstruction".
The fellowships are aimed at postdoctoral researchers from the humanities, cultural and social sciences whose research promises to make a substantial contribution to a better understanding of the history, society, politics and culture of Ukraine.

The 18th Annual Conference of Young Slavistis will be dedicated to the theme "Hegemony in the Slavic Area". The conference will take place at the Faculty of Arts of Charles University in Prague from 5.-7. December 2024.
The conference is intended for students (bachelor's and master's degree), graduates, alumni, PhD students and young scholars under 35 years of age.
