As a university we are committed to the Open Science principles of open exchange, transparency, reproducibility and accountability. The aim is to increase the quality and effectiveness of research as well as the benefits to society. This course aims to empower students for Open and Reproducible Science by introducing crucial technical skills, making collaborative, reusable and transparent research too easy not to do. The course is divided in five topics:
1. Version control
2. Reproducible computing with R
3. Questionable research practices
4. Good statistical practice
5. Tools in R for meta data handling
