Franz Strauss's primary research interest is in oral regeneration and implant dentistry – specifically translating evidence into practice in a patient- and clinician-centred manner. He has designed and conducted basic, pre-clinical, and clinical research resulting in more than 80 publications in international peer-reviewed journals. He serves as a reviewer for several journals in periodontics and implant dentistry – including being the current section editor for Implantology in the Journal of Esthetic and Restorative Dentistry.
