Prof. Dr. Rost wins EURAM Best Paper Award 2023

Prof. Dr. Rost wins with her co-authors Bruno Frey and Margrit Osterloh the EURAM Best Paper Award 2023 for "the rationality of qualified lotteries".

Prof. Dr. Katja Rost's paper shows the different ways in which qualified lotteries have been used in history, analyses why this procedure has been forgotten despite its clear advantages, and compares it with competitive selection mechanisms. The European Academy of Management awarded it one of three prizes for the best and most inspirational papers of the year 2023.
