Increase in Student Numbers
In 2025, 28,785 students were enrolled at the Bachelor’s, Master’s and PhD levels, with 4,945 new enrollments.
Increase in staff numbers
Overall staff numbers once again increased in 2024, reaching a total of 10,323 or 7,882 full time equivalents. The proportion of women among professors continued to rise, reaching 33 percent.
Positive Annual Result
The total revenue of UZH amounted to CHF 1,7 billion. UZH closed the year with a positive result and recorded profits of CHF 1.4 million. Third-party funding came to CHF 360 million – almost reaching the level of CHF 362 million achieved in the previous year.
