193 Years of the University of Zurich

UZH celebrated its 193rd birthday last Friday. An opportunity to look back and ahead, and to grant honorary doctorates to distinguished guests.

It Is Blooming!

A rare botanical highlight is currently on display at UZH's Botanical Garden: the giant bromeliad “Alcantarea imperialis”, blooming only once in its lifetime, can now be admired daily from 8:00am to 6:00pm in the tropical greenhouses.
