Non-Fulfillment of Conditions and Additional Requirements for a Master’s Program

If students in a Master’s study program are no longer able to fully meet conditions or additional requirements because they have failed assessments (failed attempts), or if they do not comply with a deadline set upon admission, they will be definitively excluded from the Master’s study program in question.

Definitive exclusion from a study program has the effect of banning the student from participating in the study program in question and in all study programs deemed similar by the faculty at all academic levels. Further information can be found below and on the websites of the faculties:

Faculty of Business, Economics and Informatics

Faculty of Theology and the Study of Religion and Faculty of Science
Definitive exclusion from a study program at the Faculty of Theology and the Study of Religion or Faculty of Science has the effect of banning the student from participating in the study program in question and in all 

  1. Bachelor’s study programs where the definitively failed module is a compulsory module;
  2. Bachelor’s study programs where the requirements of individual core elective modules (maximum number of failed attempts that are permitted within the limits of the defined substitution options) can no longer be met due to failed assessments;
  3. Master’s study programs where the definitively failed module is a compulsory module that would have to be fulfilled as part of conditions or additional requirements;
  4. Master’s study programs where the requirements of core elective modules that have been defined as conditions or additional requirements (maximum number of failed attempts that are permitted within the limits of the defined substitution options) can no longer be met due to failed assessments.
