For Researchers, Instructors and PhDs at UZH

UZH supports its researchers and teaching staff who are experiencing hardship as a result of the war wherever possible. UZH is working hand in hand with swissuniversities and the Swiss National Science Foundation to adopt suitable measures. UZH will do everything in its power to prevent its members from having to return to areas affected by the war in the current circumstances.

Support from the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF)

The Swiss National Science Foundation is adopting immediate measures for Ukrainian researchers in Switzerland who already hold an SNSF grant or are working in one of its projects. For obvious reasons, researchers affected by the war are currently unable to advance their projects or return to their country. The SNSF is ready to extend deadlines and funding periods temporarily to offer flexibility with regard to the terms of employment and to provide additional funding if required.
