Honorary Doctorates and Guests of Honor

At the annual Dies academicus celebration, each UZH faculty presents a distinguished researcher and teacher with an honorary doctorate from the University of Zurich. In addition, the status of "guest of honor" or "honorary senator" is granted in recognition of dedicated service to academia or the University.
