Research Platform for Medicine, Ethics and Law
The Center of Excellence Medicine Ethics Law Helvetiae (MERH) promotes academic cooperation at the interfaces of medicine, ethics and law. Important topics such as human research, genetic testing, reproductive medicine, end-of-life decisions, assisted suicide, as well as forensic medicine, transplantation, the role of digitalization in medicine and data-management in healthcare are key components of the center’s research.
