Repräsentation der globalen Pflanzenwelt

Der Botanische Garten der Universität Zürich ist Teil des Instituts für Systematische Botanik und dient der Forschung, der Lehre, der öffentlichen Bildung und der Erholung. Rund 8'000 Pflanzenarten werden hier angebaut. Ziel ist es, eine gute, wissenschaftlich betreute Repräsentation der globalen Pflanzenwelt zu zeigen. Der neue Botanische Garten wurde 1976 gebaut, der alte Botanische Garten wird immer noch als öffentlicher Park gepflegt.

April bis Oktober

Montag – Freitag: 7.00 – 19:00 Uhr
Samstag / Sonntag / Feiertage: 8.00 – 18.00 Uhr

November bis März

Montag – Freitag: 8.00 –18.00 Uhr
Samstag / Sonntag / Feiertage: 8.00 –17.00 Uhr
